Chris and Nicky spent a long time contemplating where they would go on their honeymoon. They fancied going off in search of elephants and leopards, thought about touring around the 'youngest country on earth' and even contemplated (for a few seconds!) spending it with Mickey and Minnie!
However, when they read about "deserted beaches of the softest powder-white sand, with a backdrop of gently swaying palm tress...an ocean that is a world apart, a truly amazing kaleidoscope of over nine hundred species of exotic fish inhabiting the crystal clear waters...an exclusive island hideaway" it didn't take them long to decide that it just had to be The Maldives.
They are planning on flying to this tropical paradise the day after their wedding. They will be met at the airport and will then transfer to their resort island by speedboat. Their accommodation is located at the water's edge, with a private sun-deck, stairs into the sea and a spectacular view of the lagoon.
It will be a wonderfully romantic place for them to unwind and start their married life together.
