David & Emma are doing things a bit differently from most of our honeymoon couples - because they haven't actually booked their honeymoon yet. They have lots of ideas as to where they would like to go, but they are waiting to see how their finances work out, once all the expenses for their wedding have been sorted out.
Their first choice destination would be to the Caribbean. The islands - such as Jamaica, Barbados, Antigua, St Lucia, Cuba etc. all have very different characteristics. Some of the islands, such as St Lucia have beautiful beaches, but a lush green interior with their own tropical rain-forests. Jamaica has one of the most photographed tiered-waterfalls in the world. Antigua has 365 different beaches - one for every day of the year. Cuba is the largest island and has everything from the mountains of the Vinales area and the tobacco plantation to amazing beaches, and, of course, the unique atmosphere of the capital city, Havana, with its amazing historic buildings - and even more amazing collection of 1950's classic cars !
Apart from their beaches, and the sunshine, the other thing that the Caribbean Islands have in common is the hospitality of the locals, who will make any holiday - but especially a honeymoon - extremely memorable...Oh yes, there's also the rum punch ! Treat that with great respect, otherwise the locals will remember more about your holiday than you will.
If, for any reason, the Caribbean doesn't work out for David & Emma, then we will find them another wonderful destination that they will enjoy and which will make this a really special holiday for them.
